The One-Mile Smile

Today was a very good day.

It started off well and just kept getting better.

First, while I was getting ready for school, Mom made me pancakes.

Then, I found a lucky penny on my walk to school.

At school, I finished the spelling quiz with no mistakes. I also aced my math test.

Plus, when my grandma picked me up after school, she said we could go out for ice cream. I got vanilla with peanut butter cups. My favorite!

Grandma said I had the best grin in the whole place. She called it my “one-mile smile.”
