Yesterday

Yesterday was a fun day. Here is a list of everything I did:

  • I baked a cake with my grandma. We shaped it to make it look like a bunny.

  • I shot hoops with my uncle Peter. I faked him out and got an easy lay-up.

  • I played hide and seek with my brother Joseph. He looked for me first, but I am a good hider.

  • After lunch, I poked my sister and made her yelp.

  • I completed my homework and now my weekend will be free.

All in all, I would say yesterday ruled. I would repeat it again.

-------------------------------

Explain It

Now have your child answer a couple questions about the story:

  1. What are some of the things the author did yesterday?

  2. Who did the author play hide and seek with?
