Have your child read the passage below.
One Million Dollars!
If you had one million dollars, what would you do?
Let's pretend you won the lottery. You might feel like a champion.
But what would you do differently? Would you buy a new house? Would you give some away to a charity?
Would you buy a new car? Yes?! But wait, can you drive?
How about a fast horse? Maybe even a stallion?
A cute new dress? A new phone, or a drone you can fly?
Would you jump from a plane with a parachute?
If you had a million dollars, you would be rich!
-------------------------------
Explain It
Now have your child answer a couple questions about the story:
Without looking back at the story, can you spell the word "million?"
If you won a million dollars, would you want people to know? Why or why not?
