The Daily(ish) Decodable program uses a standard format to work through one sound per day. There are simple instructions for you, the parent or caregiver, and any words in big bold letters are meant for your child to read out loud.
Today we're going to work on blending the "shr-" sound in words like shrimp.

Here are seven facts about shrimp:

Shrimp make migrations. That means they might travel many miles from the place they are born.
Some shrimp are not “shrimpy” at all! While some shrimp are very small, others can grow up to one foot long.
Some shrimp live only a year or two while others can live for over a decade.
Crabs, fish, whales, dolphins, and seabirds all eat shrimp.
Shrimp are good for you to eat too. They can help make you strong.
