The Daily(ish) Decodable program uses a standard format to work through one sound per day. There are simple instructions for you, the parent or caregiver, and any words in big bold letters are meant for your child to read out loud.
Today we're going to review the "-ea" sound in "tea" and "beak."
You can review all of the prior lessons here.

Tea Day
Today is World Tea Day.
After water, tea is the number one drink in the world. (Coffee comes next.)
Are you a tea drinker? If so, do you like it hot or iced? Do you prefer it sweet or plain?
It may or may not be true, but the first tea drinker was a man in China a long, long time ago. According to the story, a man was sitting under a tree with a cup of hot water when a leaf fell into his cup. It made a good smell, so he drank it.
And the rest is his-tea-ry.
-------------------------------
Explain It
Now have your child answer a couple questions about the story:
What is the number one drink in the world?
Without looking back, can you spell the word "each?"
